The theme "Cinema as Strategic Storytelling to Portray Psychological Trauma Across Generations" explores how emotional wounds are shaped by personal relationships and broader societal influences, including cultural norms, education, economic conditions, and authority figures. Psychological trauma often rises from subtle experiences that become normalized in everyday life. The use of film as a strategic storytelling medium allows for an exploration of how these experiences impact individuals' psychological states, making visible the emotional effects that are frequently overlooked or unacknowledge Through this competition, participants are encouraged to explore how such trauma is formed, inherited, and shapes how a person views themselves and their environment.
